BC Jewish Queer and Trans Oral History Project
March 2020 – ongoing

First of its kind BC project coordinated by Carmel Tanaka publicly hi-lighting the embodied intersection of Jewishness and Queerness. Mickey was involved in the initial advocacy, transcription, and was trained as an oral history interviewer by JMABC.

Mickey is also a JQT juror for the upcoming Chosen Family exhibition hosted by the Sidney and Gertrude Zack Gallery at the JCC

This multi-phase project is a partnership between Jewish Museum and Archives of BC (JMABC) and Jewish Queer & Trans (JQT) Vancouver
